About us

Roger
has enjoyed a lengthy career in photography. The main strands have been co-directing Picture House Centre for Photography in Leicester, documentary photography for education and probation service and theatre clients. He has taught photography to a wide range of students, most recently at De Montfort University. He now concentrates on personal projects.

Danièle
maintains a passion for pinhole photography, alternative processes and sun printing.
She has pursued an extensive personal project relating to mother/daughter relationships, culminating in an exhibition and lectures.
Inspiration comes from the wonderful Durham Festival of Light, World Pinhole Day and collaborative projects.

Roger and Danièle
lecture jointly on the theme of 'Living with Photography' and 'Growing Old Playfully and Other Stories'.

In addition to their personal projects, they continue to collaborate on 'Growing Old Playfully', a work which has continued for more than 10 years, addressing the phenomenon of the ageing body through masks, props and created and found scenarios.
